SAN MATEO, Calif. - March 1, 2010 - Capcom® Entertainment, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, announced today that Mega Man® 10 has been launched on Nintendo's WiiWare service. The PlayStation®3 version will follow on the PlayStation®Network next week, March 11th and the Xbox LIVE® Arcade version for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft will launch on the Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network on March 31st. Mega Man 10, the latest entry in Capcom's long-running series, will return gamers to the nostalgic perfection of classic 2D Mega Man® gameplay, embracing retro platform action and Nintendo Entertainment System-inspired old-school graphics.
Upcoming game Super Mario Galaxy 2 will have a Full Orchestra used for the game's soundtrack.
Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that a three pack of songs from American rockers Disturbed, as well as singles from Silversun Pickups, The Mother Hips and TRUSTcompany, will be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content (DLC) for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. These are among the more than 400 artists currently available through the Rock Band platform.

But with the arrival of the game itself comes the confirmation of another detail we've been waiting for since the sequel's announcement -- the identity of its third playable hero. Though the DLC option to be able to download him has not yet gone live and we still don't know when it will, we now know that when it does we'll be able to play as Bass.
